Meet The Coach
Head Coach Matt Schuchardt:
This is Matt’s 4th year with the boys swim team. He has spent time coaching with Saginaw Heritage, Hudsonville, and Ottawa Hills High School’s before coming to Muskegon. He has his Bachelors and Masters degrees from Michigan State University. Matt teaches science at Mona Shores Middle School. He and his wife Ashleigh have two children, Lucy and Nora

Assistant Coach Arin Wiegand:
Arin graduated from Grand Haven High School in 2001, where she was a state qualifier 4 years, all state and all american junior and senior years.
She graduated from Eastern Michigan with a major in biology, swam all four years 200 IM, 200 back, 400 IM.
Arin coached the Grand Haven YMCA for 4 years, and also assists the girls team.
