This Friday is Hats on for hunger and popcorn day. Please consider sending in a donation for the food pantry. Our class will be counting and sorting all the donations collected. With unemployment at a record high and the economy declining the needs in our community have increased beyond the supply local pantries have. Evey donation helps.

Friday is also popcorn day. Popcorn is sold by the P.T.O for .25 cents per bag. Please send money in a labeled envelope if you would like popcorn on Friday.

Our party planning is underway. The party will be on Friday, October 31st. We will begin our parade down Melmax at about 2:1o. With the party to follow in the classroom. Please no blood or weapons. This is a school rule.  We are also going to take masks off during our party because we do have children afraid of costumes and we want everyone to be able to participate in the fun. Everyone is welcome for the parade and the party!

THANK YOU PARENTS AND GRANDPARENTS! OUR PARTY WAS SO MUCH FUN. THE KIDS ALL HAD A GREAT TIME.

This has been a crazy week at the Fritz household. We brought home a new baby girl. Her name is Nia Grace and we will be adopting her. Everyone in our family already loves her.  She is almost five months old and very happy all of the time.  Please keep our family in your prayers during this time of transition.

I wanted to take a minute and say thank you. I have really enjoyed getting to know your children. I can already tell that it is going to be an amazing year. They are all so very unique and filled with excitement for learning. We have spent the last few weeks learning about how to be members of our classroom community. They are understanding what it means to help each other by being bucket fillers and not a bucket dippers. Hopefully you are able to see the results of their learning at home too! Have a great weekend. It sounds like rain, but it may be a great time to catch up on some much needed relaxation after all of the craziness of back to school.

mouse.jpgIt was great seeing all of the families at open house yesterday. Our numbers seem to change daily, but right now we have 24 kids in our class. Hopefully you found the packet of information you received at the open house helpful. Please don’t hesitate to call me if you have any questions. This is going to be a great year! Have a wonderful holiday weekend. See you back on Tuesday.

Classroom Snack Needed

We currently have 25 students enrolled in our class. The students have a shared snack each day. I ask that each child donate snack monthly to be shared with the class. Please try to send individually packaged items. This allows the ability to set out a variety of options for students and cuts down on the spread of germs. We do have a refrigerator in our classroom. This allows for healthy snacks like string cheese, yogurt, and oranges to be served as well. Please try to send your snack contribution at the beginning of the month. Watch Friday newsletters for snack updates. Some months we have plenty and ask that they not be sent while other months we may run short. Thanks in advance for your support with this. The kids always look forward to snack-time and it is a great way to keep their brains working hard!
