1. Cheese and Sausage, etc. money is PAST DUE (Money was due Wednesday, Oct. 17th) Checks should be made payable to: Mona Shores Choir. Please convert all cash into one check if possible. This way, students don’t have to worry about losing cash and it makes Mr. D’Oyly’s counting money job less time consuming.

2. Allegro auditions, night one (singing) are Monday. The schedule, with times, is posted on the wall in the choir room. DO NOT MAKE ANY CHANGES. THEY WILL NOT BE HONORED!! The schedule has also been posted here on the blog under “Pages.” The songs for this audition are as follows: Sopranos- “How Lovely to be a Woman” m. 101-end. Altos-”English Teacher m. 96-139. Tenors-”Got a lot of Livin” m. 1-33. Bass-”Put on a Happy Face” m. 5-39. Also guys will learn “Telephone Hour” m. 19-23 (Harvey’s part). You DO NOT need to have these songs prepared in advance of the audition, but it never hurts!
3. The Coffeehouse show performer’s list is posted out in the hallway as well as under “Pages” over on the right of this blog.
4. Reminder: Passports for Brazil must be applied for by the Oct. 31st. The county building is closed on Saturdays. If you cannot get downtown during the week, Muskegon City Hall (near the county building, across from the fire station) will be holding a passport clinic on Nov. 3rd from 8:30am until 2pm. If do not get your passport applied for by Oct. 31, make sure you go to this event and get this done on Nov. 3rd!!!!

As usual, we began the day with a series of warm-ups followed by a sight-singing exercise. We have 21 different days of warm-ups (4 different warm-ups each day) and each of the choirs is singing from a different level of difficulty sight reading book.
