NEW!! Outstanding Job to all the participants! And to the Allegros, you were simply amazing yesterday. From the bottom of my heart, you all made me gush with pride!! Jill and her “A crew” did an outstanding job organizing the event this year. The choreography was awesome. The workshops were really fun. And all of you really shared your energy and love of music and people with others. Everyone had a blast!!!! I am really, really proud of you!!

This is a really unique concert that features not only all of our choir students but the top performers in the choir, band and orchestra, chosen by audition. Their is no applause between numbers as the we move swiftly from one number to the next.

All the Mona Shores High School Allegros need to be at the high school by 8:30am Monday morning. Don’t forget to bring your required snack or 2 liters of pop.

ALLEGRETTO NOTTE PARTICIPANTS (4TH THRU 9TH GRADERS): 

All Allegretto Notte PARTICIPANTS need to check in between 9am-9:30am. Check in will take place inside the auditorium lobby of Mona Shores HS Performing Arts Center. Participants should enter the building at the high school theater front doors entrance, near the “lighthouse”.

All participants need to bring a sack lunch–make sure it is labeled with their name.

Pizza will be provided for dinner.

We also suggest comfortable clothing and a water bottle. (We have a water machine in the choir room and students can fill out their water bottle free of charge).

All participants and Allegros will receive a T-shirt that will be worn for the evening show.

The show begins at 7pm. Cost is $3 payable at the door. We will open the doors as close to 1/2 hour before the show as possible: Approximately 6:30pm.

COLLAGE/SHOWCASE AUDITIONS: Collage & Showcase auditions are Tues., Jan. 22nd at 3pm in the choir room. The applications to audition are in the choir room and are due by Jan. 16th (next week Wednesday).

OTHER THINGS WE DID YESTERDAY:

As usual, we began the day with a series of warm-ups followed by a sight-singing exercise. We have 21 different days of warm-ups (4 different warm-ups each day) and each of the choirs is singing from a different level of difficulty sight reading book.

SONGS PRACTICED YESTERDAY:

Finally completed voice testing in ALL classes as of today.
