KEEP PRACTICING!! With all the days off, 1/2 days, assemblies, Chicago Trip, etc. we are really starting to get behind with the music for our March 9th, “Of Earthly Things†concert. Please…..spend time every day on the blog listening to these pieces and looking at the lyric sheets. If we don’t do this beginning today, we simply will not have a positive musical experience!

REMINDER!! Set Help Needed: The Bye Bye Birdie Set Build and Tech Schedule has been posted under pages on the right of this blog. The build times for THIS week are as follows: (Allegros, remember that you have to put in 5 hours of set time. Choir students receive 2 points per hour of work as well!)

UPDATE!!! Our cheesecake was delivered yesterday (Tuesday) It is very important that the cakes get picked up immediately, if they haven’t been already. They are delivered frozen and are best given to the customers as soon as possible. Don’t forget to collect the money and checks can be make payable to: Mona Shores Choir. I hear we were missing a few!

COLLAGE/SHOWCASE:
NEW!! The new Collage date is Sunday, March 2nd, 2008. We will have a quick run through of “O Fortuna†Thursday, Feb. 28th, right after school.

Treble and Men’s Choir: No Theory yesterday
OTHER THINGS WE DID DURING OUR LAST REHEARSAL TOGETHER:
As usual, we began the day with a series of warm-ups followed by a sight-singing exercise. We have 21 different days of warm-ups (4 different warm-ups each day) and each of the choirs is singing from a different level of difficulty sight reading book.
