REMINDER!! Our annual CHEESECAKE FUNDRAISER Ends this Friday!! Please support the choir and enjoy a delicious dessert or snack, all at the same time! The order forms are due by Friday, January 30th and the cakes will be delivered on Thursday, February 5th.

Types of cheesecake include: Traditional, Chocolate Chip, Mint Chocolate Chip, Chocolate Marble, Pineapple Coconut Creme, Key Lime, Blueberry, Cherry (heart shaped for Valentines Day!), Pecan Caremel, Mocha Latte (Mr. Lawton’s personal favorite!), Strawberry, Turtle, Raspberry Fudge, Cookies and Cream and the Variety (2 slices each of Traditional, Turtle, Amaretto, Chocolate Chip, Cookies and Creme, Pineapple Coconut Creme, and Mint Chocolate Chip).

Cakes range in price from $16.00-$20.00 and each has 14 slices and weighs 4lbs. Cost per slice is between $1.14-$1.42 per slice.

The choir makes $5.50 per cake and much of the money raised helps to pay for Pop Go the Sailors!

Cakes can be frozen for up to 6 months and are all pre-sliced. They can be thawed and refrozen as well. The cakes have a refrigeration shelf life of 5 days.

These cakes are exquiste, restaurant quality and handmade cheesecakes–just ask your children–they each sampled the cakes in class!

NEW!! The next deadline for payment on the senior trip to NYC is due by Feb. 1st. Since this date is a Sunday, please have your payment turned into the office by Fri. Jan. 30th. Keep in mind a late fee of $10 is added to payments made after the due date.

Fri, Feb. 13th- “Have-a-Heart” Benefit Concert for Leah Davidson who is challenged with Osteogenesis Imperfecta (OI). Tickets are $6 for adults and $4 for students. There will be silent auction as well. Many MSHS singers, soloists, etc. have volunteered to perform. SOUTH AFRICA FOR ADULTS IN THE SUMMER OF 2010!!

UP-TO-DATE INFORMATION BELOW (PAYMENT SCHEDULE & TOUR PROPOSAL AVAILABLE)!!

It seems that during every student tour, the adult staff ponder the idea of traveling without the responsibility of chaperoning the students and doing all the work involved with performing. Just a relaxing time among friends!!

We are now making this dream a reality with a trip to South Africa from June 16-28, 2010. We will be visiting cities such as Johannesburg (and the Kruger National Park-Safari style!), Port Elizabeth on South Africa’s South-Eastern Coast (with a day spent at the Addo Elephant National Park, home to over 200 Elephants!), ride ostriches, travel the Garden Route to Oudtshoorn, visit Robben Island, where Nelson Mandela was imprisoned for 27 years, visit the Cango Wildlife Ranch and Caves and visit Capetown (with a penguin refuge!).

Anyone 18 years or older and that has graduated by June of 2010 is invited. This includes past Shores Choir Trip staff, students and friends of the choir!

DEADLINE SET!! WE ARE REQUESTING THAT PARTICIPANTS START MAKING PAYMENTS BY APRIL 1ST (at the latest) IN REGARD TO THIS TRIP (A $100 deposit is due in January, with $225 payments due in both February and March.
