Camp Pendalouan

The fourth grade classrooms will be going to Camp Pendalouan on Tuesday, April 15th . The bus will leave about 8:35 and will return to school at approximately 2:15.  If you are interested in coming along as a chaperone we would be happy to have you, but you will have to drive out on your own due to limited seating on the bus.  If you would like to join us, please send a note to school to help us plan our day.  We will be outside for most of the day so please make sure that your child is dressed appropriately.  It is hard to predict the weather in April so layers of clothing are recommended.  If rain is in the forecast please encourage your child to bring a raincoat or waterproof jacket.  Each student should also bring a sack lunch and drink that can be disposed of after they are done eating.  We should have a great educational time.

Link-Up Concert

On Wednesday April 16 we are going to the Frauenthal Center from 10:40-1:00 for the Link-Up Concert.  Please make sure that your child brings in a snack to eat because we will not be eating lunch until we get back to the school.  Deli Sandwiches can be ordered for those students who eat hot lunch.

We will not going to Lansing due to scheduling conflicts.  Instead we will be going to the IMAX Theater and the Van Andel Museum in the spring.  More information will be coming.

Beginning the month of January,  fourth grade students  will be required to complete the Book It program on the required due dates.  They need to complete January, February, and March Book It to recieve their free Whitecaps baseball ticket.  Students that do not complete Book It for those three months will stay at Lincoln Park  for the day.   This field trip will be at the end of May.

The fourth grade will not be going to Lansing this year due to scheduling conflicts.  Instead we will be attending the IMAX Theater and the Van Andel Museum in Grand Rapids.  More information will be coming.

Merry Christmas

There will be a math test over chapter 6 next Thursday, December 13

Our Christmas party will be on Friday December 21.  We will have the party after lunch time.  All are welcome to come and visit the party.  We have a Christmas committee that will plan the party.  Have your child buy a gift of not more than $5.00 with a card saying: to boy/girl:  they may put their name if they want but they do not have to.
